Blue's involvement in the performing arts started early on. Throughout elementary, middle, and high school, Blue had tried their hand at community theatre, competitive dance and cheer, and concert and marching band. The last one really stuck. Practicing color guard since 2015, Blue now has more than 10 years of experience in the field, and is happy to use that knowledge wherever they can.
Performing since 2015, instructing from 2021, and writing and directing full shows from 2024, Blue's involvement in the color guard world continues to develop today. After founding NKU's first ever competitive color guard group in 2023, Blue created a team of staff and led them in writing and directing the 2024 and 2025 shows used in TMA competition: "Leda" and "Another Day of Sun."
Blue has gone on to direct other groups within the Tristate Marching Arts circuit ranging from different classes like Independent Regional A and Scholastic Regional A.
